Very simply, Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is an ancient system of healing that adjusts the electrical and energy systems of the body that is called Qi (pronounced chee). The diagnostic methods include looking at the tongue and sensing the pulse for qualitative information about how your Qi is doing. The philosophy is to work in harmony with who you are, your constitution, your diet, and the seasons. You are more than just a body - your intelligence, emotions, and spirit greatly affect your health.
